The party-goers braving the 90+ heat to celebrate Alex under the tent while he slept in the AC!

The Cake and cup cakes! They were YUMMY!!

Alex was all tuckered out after his Baptism that when we got to Party he fell asleep and took a 4 hour nap! Its hard being a baby:)

Kyle & Jen came to visit and spend time with Alex. They were also here to celebrate Alex's Baptism too. Kyle is Alex's godfather. We had a very nice celebration at St. Peter's with Msgr. Cositgan presiding over the Baptism. It was very beautiful and I will post pictures of the Baptism once I get them from Jennifer, my personal photographer for the special event. After the Baptism we had a party for Alex at Jennifer's parents house, Tom & Sandra Kynerd. It was a very nice day for a party, but a bit toasty outside. It was a nice way to welcome in the Church family. He slept most of the day though. He did wake up after most of his guests left and played with Gary & Nick.

Myrtle Beach Trip

I don't like this hat Mommy!

Mommy & Alex on the Beach

On the Beach!

Every year Gary and his friends get together at Myrtle Beach with their families to celebrate the 4th of July. This year we got to take Alex for the first time! At 7 weeks old, Alex got to go to the beach and meet Anna, Ryan, Taylor, James, & John. This was the first year that almost all the the couples had little ones in toe! Our friends Brandi & Thomas got engaged--he propsed by writing Marry Me B! in the sand and had her come to the balcony and look down!! It was so great! Gary and I are so happy for them! Alex went down to the beach a few days, but Gary and I took turns being down on the beacj because it was so hot and we didn't want Alex to get burnt. We had purchased a baby tent, however after the first day it broke and we had to rely on an umbrella which actually worked out better! We had such a great time! Thanks to everyone who made it a special vacation!

Happy 4th of July!

Alex's 1st Fourth of July

I love my sunglasses!

I Love the USA!!

Gary, Alex, & I went to Myrtle Beach for our annual Beach Trip with Gary's College Friends! It was Alex's 1st Beach Adventure! We had to come home early because Gary had to work, but we got a few pics of Alex in his 4th of July outfit! We even had sunglasses for him to wear! We had a blast and Alex was a good baby! He got to meet all of Gary's buddies and there new little ones as well! Can't wait for next years trip, he will be running around by then!!! Thanks for a great trip everyone!
