Pirate Fest 2008 at Tybee Island, GA

Every October there is a Pirate Festivel at Tybee Island,GA. This year I had family in visiting from South Bend, IN and Atlanta,GA. We all spent the weekend out at the beach! It was a bit rainy, excpet during the parade. I don't have any photots of the parade or me:( I didn't dress up this year because it was my first year, but perhaps next year I will be up for dressing like a pirate "Wench" We had a blast and Alex got to hang out with family that he doesn't see all the time! Alex is now 5 months old and getting so big! We are just waiting for him to cut a tooth any day! He drools sooo MUCH!!

PUMPKIN TIME!!!

HALLOWEEN TIME!!
I love my Mummy and my Mummy loves me!!!
Gary and I took Alex to his very first visit to the pumpkin patch! It was a farm in Bloomingdale, GA, a near by city from Savannah. We got to go back to an open barn and pick out the pumpkins with Alex! He looks a little scared, but I would be too if I kept hearing a goat off in the distance! There was a goat that we took Alex to see on our way back to the car. Alex seemed to like the goat as did the goat like Alex!

Leukemia and Lymphoma Light the Night Walk---Walking in Memory of Grandma Margie

Every October Gary & I, and now Alex participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night walk. We walk in memory of Gary's mother, Margie. She passed away in 2004 after a hard battle with Leukemia. But she was Gary & mine mathcmaker. Thanks to Margie, Gary & I are happily married and have the most wonderful little boy----ALEXANDER! We also walk in memory of Gary's Uncle Buddy who also lost his battle with Leukemia. This year the family wore special memory shirts for Margie & Buddy. Alex wore a shirt just with Grandma Margie on it and his cousin, Addison wore a picture of just her Papa Buddy on it!
