This was Alex's first Christmas and Alex had a blast! He enjoyed looking at the the decorations, playing with the presents, & palying with the paper! Alex didn't go without:) Between Santa and extended friends & family Alex doesn't need anymore toys until his birthday! Alex has started crawling with in the past week and he can now get around to wear he wants to be by either, crawling or rolling! It is getting to be so much fun with him now that he is so much more interactive. He likes to copy sounds that Mommy & Daddy make too! We are so blessed to have a such wonderful little man!

The Magic Kingdom---Youngblood Vacation to Disney!

The Magic Kingdom! We went to Disney for a family vacation! It was so much fun and very beautiful! Disney at Christmas, what can I say, they pay attention to every little detail! It wasn't to busy and we got to take Alex on Peter Pan, It's A Small World, The Haunted Mansion, The Monorail, and more! To me it really is one of the happiest places on Earth! I know that Alex won't rememeber much, but just to see him smile made it the best vacation so far:) He is starting to interact more and more everyday and grow into a very observant little baby boy! He got his first pair of Mickey Ears---he looks so CUTE!! We hope that all of our friends and family have a Happy Holiday Season!

Alex is getting so BIG! He is now 6 months old and doing wonderful! Everyday he does something new and exciting. It amazes me how fast they learn new things. He is sitting up on his own, however can't get from the lying position to sitting on his own, but boy is he working on it! He loves to lay on his tummy and move his legs & arms in an attempt to crawl! We are getting there. He loves going to daycare and the teachers tell us everyday that Alex is such a good boy, he never cries and when he does, he either needs a diaper changed or is hungry! Alex is eating solid foods now and the doctor said that he can start eating some adult food---mashed potatoes, soft cheeses & yogurt! We are going to give him some mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving! He has a good appetite! He goes to bed at 7ish on most nights and sleeps until 530am, somedays longer! He is the best little son a Mommy & Daddy could ask for!

We had a Halloween Party this year! We invited family & friends! Alex dressed up as Superman! He was so cute! It was a a little chili so we had to warm up with a blanket & hat! These are just a few pictures of the evening!

Pirate Fest 2008 at Tybee Island, GA

Every October there is a Pirate Festivel at Tybee Island,GA. This year I had family in visiting from South Bend, IN and Atlanta,GA. We all spent the weekend out at the beach! It was a bit rainy,excpet during the parade. I don't have any photots of the parade or me:( I didn't dress up this year because it was my first year, but perhaps next year I will be up for dressing like a pirate "Wench" We had a blast and Alex got to hang out with family that he doesn't see all the time! Alex is now 5 months old and getting so big! We are just waiting for him to cut a tooth any day! He drools sooo MUCH!!

Gary and I took Alex to his very first visit to the pumpkin patch! It was a farm in Bloomingdale, GA, a near by city from Savannah. We got to go back to an open barn and pick out the pumpkins with Alex! He looks a little scared, but I would be too if I kept hearing a goat off in the distance! There was a goat that we took Alex to see on our way back to the car. Alex seemed to like the goat as did the goat like Alex!
