Alex turned 1 on May 15th! My brother and sister-in-law were coming in to celebrate with us, so we decided to rent a house out on Tybee! The house that we originally rented became unavailable at the last minute, so we got moved to another house and this one on Butler Avenue. The main drag onto the beach! It turned out to be perfect! Alex's birthday was the same day as the beach bum parade! The unofficial start to summer on Tybee. There is a parade were the goal is to get everyone on the Tybee wet! They sure did succeed! It was a blast. On Saturday we celebrated Alex's Birthday with friends and family! It was great to have a gathering and see Alex it his very first cake! The theme to Alex's Birthday was " The Beach!" He got to smash & eat his very first beach ball cake. Thank you Aunt Jodi for the awesome cake and cupcakes! There were so YUMMY!!! Thank you to all who came and to family out of town that sent there wishes for Alex's 1st Birthday!:)

Alex's 1st Beach Adventure

I haven't been good in updateing the blog and letting everyone know what Alex is doing. So tonight I have a few minutes to go at it. Well, Alex is 11 months & 3 weeks old. He is walking, talking---yes he says "baby & did did" which is short for Sidney, out precious little kitty. He is eating everything that you put in front of him from hamburgers, to spaghetti, to chicken. You name and he wants to eat it! He will go for his 1 year check-up next week and I can't wait to see how much the little manis weighing and how tall is! We took Alex tp the beach for the 1st time where he can sit and play in the sand. He sure does love the sand as is eveident from him shoving a handful into his mouth below!! Enjoy the pictures! Irish Road Bowling

This past weekend, we went to the Irish Road Bowling Tournament. You might be asking yourself, Irish Road Bowling, what is that? Well it is a game that is played in Ireland where you go around a cement track and you roll a cement ball around the track. The team of three that makes the ball around in the fewest rolls wins. I don't know how Gary's team did, but Alex and I walked & cheered Gary on for the entire 2 mile track!

Hey everyone, Addison's here!

We celebrated Gary's 37th Birthday on April 11th! We had a cook out at our house with friends and family. After dinner we took ladybug Addison and monkey Alex to play in the backyard! Boy did they have fun! Aunt Jennifer had her camera out and got some really great pictures! If it wasn't for Aunt Jennifer, we wouldn't have so many wonderful memories!:)
